We LOVE Stitch! He's the perfect puppy (except for his new found love of mud and digging)! He was potty trained the first week we got him and already knows sit, down, come, and treat!

"Josie is super smart. Energetic, yet not hyper in the least. She is trained on using our dog doors and the invisible fence. We are still crate training her to do her business outside and that is going very well. She is socially well adjusted and gets along with the other dogs great! They are like puppies again due to Josie's youth.

"Meet Berkeley! We picked Berkeley up from Newman Golden's on July 5, 2014. On that day we had the pleasure of meeting not only our energetic, intelligent puppy, but the breeders who made it all possible. Prior to the birth of the litter, James and Tara Newman corresponded with us to ensure that all of our questions were answered as well as providing us with information related to the sire and dam, expected birth date, scheduled vet visits, projected pick-up date, etc. When the litter was born, the Newman's continuously provided us with updates as well as pictures of the growing puppies. This allowed us to prepare for the new addition to our family and fall in love with the pups before even meeting or selecting a puppy. Our experience with the Newman's was truly exceptional. We could not be more pleased with these dedicated breeders and the remarkable puppy they allowed us to choose! Berkeley has kept us smiling since the second we selected him and brings joy each day."

"I would like to tell our story of our English Golden Retriever- Lizzie- since we brought her home with us in March, 2013. We were looking for an English Golden and I wanted to get it from a small breeder and found the Newman’s in WV. This made it better as we are originally from WV. We wanted a female and there were only two to choose from and she just cuddled right into our arms and was so calm. She was the one...When we picked her up at the beginning of March- she was pretty well housebroken and new some commands and she was very secure and just so sweet. She has continued to be such a wonderful puppy and easily trained. She has been healthy  and just such a happy puppy.  She tries so hard to play with our 19 year old Kitty who tolerates her but really doesn’t want much to do with her. Lizzie will bring her toys over to her and drop them in front of her to try and get her to play. She is very social- she loves everyone including children and loves to play with other dogs. She is the calmest dog I have ever had and just laid back. If you get ready to walk her and you just are doing other things on the way out the door- she just lays down and waits until you are really walking out the door. She is amazing. We have had very little problem with her being destructive or chewing on things. She is pretty amazing, My husband has grown to love her also. She is a huge part of our family.  Anyone that buys a puppy from the Newman's will have an amazing gift to their household.  She is also beautiful on the outside as well as the inside.  We feel so lucky and blessed to have her in our lives."
